Designed along the lines of early bass guitars from the 1950’s and 60’s, the beautiful Vintage® ReIssued™ Series V51, 4 string bass guitar, never ceases to amaze owners how a professionally crafted ‘one-pickup bass’, with a no nonsense design, can deliver such an enormously wide frequency range of sonic versatility.
Far more than a work-horse bass, this stunning instrument looking extra cool with a Vintage Blonde finish, offset with a single-ply black scratchplate, a one-piece maple neck and 20 fret maple fingerboard, the V51, with a centrally positioned single-coil pickup and the naturally balanced low, mid and high frequency characteristics of the USA Alder body, delivers a multitude of full-bodied, powerful and dynamic bass tones.
Wilkinson WJBL175 open-geared machine heads, a precision-cut Graph Tech nut and a fully adjustable Wilkinson WBB4C 4 saddle bridge assure stable tuning and pinpoint intonation, whilst a thumb rest above the strings, adds to the classic lines of this beautiful electric bass.
