We buy, sell, and repair guitars of all kinds, and provide expert advice to musicians of all levels. We’re now looking for a part-time Guitar Technician to join our team and help care for our customers’ instruments.
Role Overview
As a Guitar Technician, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and setup of electric and acoustic guitars. This includes restrings, action adjustments, intonation, fretwork, and general servicing to ensure every guitar plays beautifully.
Key Responsibilities

Perform professional setups, including truss rod adjustments, intonation, action, and pickup height.

Carry out general maintenance and repair work (e.g., restrings, fret dressing, electronics, cleaning).

Assess guitars for repair and provide accurate time/cost estimates.

Assist with quality control of guitars before and after sale.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Offer advice to customers on guitar care, upgrades, and repair needs.

Support the shop team when needed (e.g., speaking with customers or assisting with sales).
Requirements

Experience working with guitars in a repair or tech role (professional or personal).

Strong attention to detail and passion for guitar maintenance.

Good communication and people skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Preferred Skills

Role Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be the face of the shop—helping customers find the right guitar, accessories, or repair service. Whether it’s a beginner buying their first acoustic or a touring musician looking for their next upgrade, you’ll provide honest, helpful advice and great service every time.
Key Responsibilities
